I might be the least noligable on here but I have asked enough questions .
The rigid mounted ones (on the Softails) are counterbalanced and are smoother running particularly while idling . I have been doing a lot of reading and found no issues yet with either.

The single biggest difference is felt when buzzing the motor.Rubber mounted you hardly feel it in the handlebars.Maintainance?they say change front mount every 10,000 miles or so.
