It's a Duracell model. They can't hardly give the damn things away. Of course if a Duracell Road Glide is for that much I'll fly down and pick it up.
Who said anything about a Road Glide for 15k?????????
There is a huge markup in these bikes........I learned last week that there is a $4800 markup in an Ultra Classic. The days of MSRP are gone. A friend who sells Harleys told me "nobody's walking out of here because of price". The result is the biggest sales month they have had in 6 months. And it's not BS.......they have a ton of trades for sale.
I'd love to find a anniversary deluxe for that price.
The best price you will ever get is when you are belly to belly with a salesman during the last weekend of the month. Tell him upfront that you are prepared to ride the bike home immediatly if he can give you a good price. Buying bikes is now the same as new car buying.
I just got a steal myself. We just bought an 05 Softail Deluxe "I" with 1200 miles for $13,000. It came with the matching saddle bags, windsheild and passenger backrest/sissybar. All of the other Deluxe's I saw were between $15k and $16k with more miles and less equipment. I bought this baby 2 days after the dealership got it in. They hadn't even taken pictures of it yet!

This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the unit has been fully reconditioned and is in excellent condition. Mileage/condition and additional equipment may have a substantial impact on the value shown above. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the unit's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. [/align]
