This is an easy job right? I have the Rinehart true duals and had the original baffles replaced with the performance baffles. The sound is louder but I get an annoying rattle type sound on decel. I am thinking of ordering the www.bigcitythunder.com baffles instead. I was just going to change them myself. Do thebaffles just slip right out and do the new ones slip right in? I had the dealer do them when I did the duals, race tuner, and download.

Just replaced the baffles on my Vance&Hines, mine had a single screw on the end cap and there is another one under the heat sheild that holds the baffle in place, then it slips out. Be sure to use some lock tight on the screws when you install them. I used the blue lock tight so if I needed to remove them again I could.

Actually I just talked to big city thunder. I guess there baffles go inbetween the head pipe and the muffler. You have to drill a hole too. Hmmm. Might be a pain in the a**.

mphamrick, how hard was it for you to remove the heat shields? U have to remove the pipes from the bike? I have a set of big shots that have quite baffles installed and want to put the regular baffles in.
