My wife wasnt too happy when I bought my new bike maybe because I didnt tell her until the day before I brought it home! But she accepts it and likes to ride when she can.We have 6 yr old triplets and Im remodeling our 125 year old farm house so we are very busy. But I always find time for a ride.Go along and you should catch the fever if not understand his addiction.
You're a smart woman for trying to figure this out. First, always remember that his passion for the bike is not meant in any way to reflect on his passion for you. I love my wife dearly but I also had a great passion for my bike. She's mature enough to understand that my material love for the bike in no way reflects on the greater love I have for her.Our relationship is built on trust and confidence in our bond. Now, I could spend my time in bars chasing other skirts...but I don't...and she realizes that I need room in our relationship to continue being who I am.The bike is the alter-ego that creates the space in our relationship.
I really think once you accept that his bike a part of him, but really not all of him, you'll find that theres room in your lives for both. There will be greater challenges in your relationship with your BF should you marry him. Get past this one and move on.
i figured I would make an attempt on my part andget on this forum to see why he loves his bike so much. Maybe, just maybe, i could grow to love it too...hopefully...lol
First off you really need to own your Harley to develope the feeling. Then again you need a little bit of the feeling to start with. The old saying goes:"If you have to ask why,Don't bother you would never understand!"
To explain it purfectly, Id have to see a picture of you in a bikini laying across his bike.. just so we know what kind of bike he has [sm=drooldude.gif]

first i would like to say some of you old farts are pervs on this site especially this dude (Stevenacnj) but since I get some good advice (sometime) on this site I am willing to let it go. In my defense I would love to take my darling fiance danni out however what she failed to mention was that I am new at this bought the bike last fall and living in the city Im not really racking up the miles. What I told her was once I have around 2500 miles and I feel comfortable I would be happy to strap her on the back but for now I just go out with the guys. Now if you still see something wrong with me worrying about her safteyplease let me know or feel free to explain it to her.
Shes a little thing stick her on there and stop jerking off in the closet, tell er to sit still and take it slow for about 5 min, it works both ways, I can always find a bitch to get on back, bitch can always find a sled to hop on.
My ole lady gave me about 6 hrs to "remember" after being off 6 or 7 yrs, hoped on and said "ride *******".
