Not my personal list; it came from HOG - just trying to give the guy a few ideas. Most of my rides are from VA to AZ, So I am used to the long haul. I start with a couple of check lists to get organized and then lay out what I think I need. Over a coulpe of days, pare it down from there to a manageable tour pack and/or TBag full, leaving room for extras along the way. My list changes depending upon the season, which bike I am on, whether I am camping or not, and other variables. My best advice is drink plenty of water and wear a long sleeved T-shirt or jacket, even if it's hot. You will get burnt up on the HWY after a long day of riding in the sun. The pavement amplifies it. That, plus wearing a 3/4 with a shield or full face will lengthen your time of riding. The wind in your face all day will wear you down. Good luck
