Default RE: Staying Warm

Layers layers layers. The heat packs are also good to put in pockets. I put a pair in a chamois shirt or in a fleece jacket that I have. Nice and toasty under the leather. I usually wear chaps to work and will put on UnderArmour Cold Gear if the temps go below 32 in the morning. Full face helmet and ski gloves with Gore-tex to break the wind. I also have a 30+ mile trip and it sure is a nice wake-up call in the morning. By the way, some Wal-marts have packages of heat pacs on sale now for $1. They come in different sizes. If I was riding 50 or more miles I would go with heated gear, but my short ride does not call for it. Remember that you lose the most heat from from head, hands, and feet. Make those parts comfy and your are set. By the way, I noticed its your first post....Welcome to the Forum and enjoy the ride.
