Pretty much anyway they want. A "real biker" is a person that has a lifetime relationship with motorcycles. Doesn't matter what make, just as long as they ride. 80% of all the people I've met on motorcycles are gone in a few years. While they own a bike they can quote makes, models, numbers, statistics, etc., etc. They *know* more about *every* bike than anyone, then they're gone..........<shrug> They ain't bikers.
I know some "real" 1%ers. I know some "real" Ironbut riders. I know a lot of normal, average people that *ride*. They're all "real bikers". Some get along, others wouldn't, but since it's a lifetime commitment for 'em they're all "real bikers".
I consider myself a "Motorcycle Enthusiest". To those who dont ride but see me wearing a Leather Jacket or vest and jeans with Boots or maybe even a pair of assless chaps. I hear "Oh he must be a Biker".
I will help a fellow Motorcycle Enthusiest out anytime. Dont matter what he/she is riding. If its got 2 wheels or even 3 and enjoys the same roads I do, and needs help. Its done!!!!. I guess that makes me a Rider....nothing more nothing less.
Personally I don't think a biker would even ask such a question. Ive been riding bikes since I was a kid, been part of the same motorcycle club for 17 years now, and seen all types come and go. Does that make me a biker? NO. It makes me someone who enjoys riding bikes. It never has been about what you ride. Sit along some road broke down....odds are it will be a biker who stops to help......wheather or not he is on a bike or not at the time. Its about brotherhood....when one helps another without looking to put profits or your money in thier pockets. Its the ones who can stick an arm out as you pass them on the road, the ones who offer assistance when needed, or a ride when needed. The wannabes out there, go out buy a new bike, leather themselves up and think that now they belong. Ive met some of the best people around on my bike, as im sure other have as well. Having a harley, to me, never has made a person a biker. Just my $.10
This is the easiest one I ever seen on here yet. A REAL biker put playing cards on the spokes of his bicycle before the age of 6 yrs old....flat out...no more discussion.

I see some post and replies around that reference a biker wannabe, OK what do you feel you do that makes you a REAL biker ?? I see people making fun of how others dress and act and would just like to know how a "real biker" is supposed to dress & act.
A real biker doesn't give a ***** how he looks, and doesn't start a thread like this!
