How the heck does someone get on a dresser other than swinging a leg to the heavens?

Now that you have all the sarcastic answers, I actually just walk up to the bike and step over the seat with my right leg and slide onto the seat. Or when dismounting, I just stand up, and slide the leg across the seat sort of pivoting a little on the left foot so I don't hop. I've tried swinging the leg over; but, it just don't work for me. I have torn the side of the passenger back rest where I have hit it with the heel of the boot trying to lift my leg over. (A little black shoe polish covered it right up.)
