Apes...I'm sold
I was a hold out for apes for awhile. But after having12.5" Wild1's for 4 days now and doing some riding, I wish I hadn't hesitated. What a whole new ride...position, comfort and handling. WOW! Lot's of good posts here helped me to pull the trigger...so thanks.

We stopped at Las Vegas Harley during the River Run and they had two bikes on the floor with the 12" Wild 1's. What an awesome feel they have. Puts your hands and arms in an almost perfect position for riding. Makes it nice to be able to see how they feel before spending the money. Mods to follow.

I'm glad I switched from beach bars to apes on my deluxe too. Looks and rides much better.

I just bought a Road King Custom (see sig) that came with aftermarket apes. I don't know what brand or size, but my gosh man, they are more comfortable than I EVER imagined! I agree that it really does put me in the perfect riding position. This new bike is so comfortable that I could damn near fall asleep on it. It's an absolute pleasure to ride.
