I know I am new to Harleys and just rode big sportbikes before but I had to comment.
I really dig my bike but that thing just seemed low and smooth. I just cant explain exactly, it just seemed more stable...and low(nothing against the Bob though...I love that thing.)
It is a 95 softail standard...my best riding friend got it. Great machine.
I jumped on my bike and loved theroughness of it though....
Both are cool.
I will get a softail though when my Bob is paid off....
Is it the rake or the rear suspension that makes it so different. I am aware of the differences in the motors
?
I sold my '03 Softail to buy my '04 Road King. Love the King, but I am for sure going to buy a Softail as a second bike. I loved that Softail, but started doing a lot of 2 up touring and the bride is a lot more comfy on the touring bike.
I can see where you're coming from Chris,I findthat you sit IN rather than on a softy.
It's likewhen you throw your leg over (from either side[sm=smiley24.gif]) it accepts you like an,....er,..... accommodating woman.
