Very fun ride! Just south of Huntsville, AR. Most of the roads in Arkansas are in really good shape and very few are straight for very long! You guys in Arkansas have it good...come ride in Nebraska once and you'll know what I mean!

Had a blast, put on over 2,000 miles in 6 days. Based out of the Sugarloaf campground at Greer's Ferry Lake. Weather was awesome too. Saw a LOT of tornado damage, had to feel sorry for a lot of folks down there. Arkansas is a really pretty state and I will be visiting again!

Rode 23 from Eureka Springs to Alma last Sunday. Like you said, perfect weather. The ride back on 71 from Alma to Fayetteville isn't too bad either! Will be going through Nebraska in August on the way to Yellowstone NP. I'll be curious to see what it's like to ride in those wide-open spaces for a long period of time. Looking forward to riding through the Sandhills.

I'm very familiar with the Sandhills but, sadly, haven't ridden up there. I hunt near Mullen (south of Valentine) every fall. THAT part of Nebraska would actually be pretty cool to ride. But Arkansas wins, hands down, for cool roads!!

By the way, Eureka Springs is a neat town. I'm already trying to convince my wife that she'd love it. In the meantime, I'll be out on the Pig Trail

I grew up in the opposite corner of the state. Went there a lot as a kid but didn't appreciate how gorgeous it was. We went there last November during the leaf change and it really opened my eye's to how beautiful it was. We're planning on going back every year. Hwy 7 from Harrison is another good ride.

Yes it is, we rode 7 a couple of times. Here are a few pics I took for those who might be curious...

The last one was after the first night in the campground. I made the mistake of not covering my bike and some unidentified critter (racoon?) tried to make off with it!

Were going to the Blues Festival there next week. We'll be going in via highway 62 from thewest. We rode the pig trail last year though.

My wife and I got a kick out of the "Crooked and Steep" signs when we first moved to Arkansas. Somewhere on 23 last Sunday I saw one that read "Very Crooked and Steep". That was a first for me.
