Had a funny offer last night...
Some guy that I had never met before offered me a vstar for my bike. I laughed my *** off. Then he offered some other honda with it. I laughed again and informed him that he was dreaming. Hilarious.

Same thing happened to me last summer.
I was at a gas station and I only had my Dyna for about 6 months at the time, and he had a really nice Vstar. Tried to trade straight up. I told him he was crazy, but at least his bike was actually nice.

What color was the Vstar? (red is pretty rare). With a luggage rack adds $35.....
You didn't mention what HONDA he offer......if it was a "RUNE", you may have missed a deal
(old Honda CT70's go for about $1700 also).
