I'm about to switch to synthetic oil, and I've got a concern about getting all of the dino oil out. Since I've got an oil cooler, there is about a 1/3 of a quart that stays in the system when I change oil. Will this be a problem with the two oils mixing in the system?
If it really bothers you you could always buy some flushing oil and run that through - but then it might mix with that - then you'll have the flush the flushing oil and where do you stop!
Sorry - just feeling flippant this afternoon. As the others say it really shouldn't be a problem especially if you drain the oil when its warm so it runs out easier.
