The more people complain about what you do the more you do it? You claim to realize the impact of disturbing the peace but then say if you aren't being arrested for it, you don't care if it adversely affects others? And yet you talk about your maturity level? You say you want your bike to sound like a V-Twin, again it IS a V-Twin! What you mean is, you want it to sound like a LOUD V-Twin. And because of my opinion on this. you feel I 'evidently' want my bike to sound like a sewing machine? Good thing you aren't an F.B.I. profiler. I have an 06 Street Bob with a stage 1 and Screamin Eagles II's. But I don't draw attention to myself by unnecessary revving, or purposely setting of car alarms or intentionally trying to be obnoxious, and I don't think anybody should. If that makes me some kind of preachy, old fart, fuddy duddy, do-gooder, so be it.
[sm=deal.gif] \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; A guy comes on here and asks a question and he gets a lecture... What we should all do is answer the question..Why do you need to shove your opinion on him and us.. If you cant answer a question without the bible thumping than stay off the topics you dont agree with... I have been riding my bikes with drag pipes for over 35 years i dont care if you dont like em
\\;and as for performance what do you care how my bike runs.
\\;stop putting your ideals on outher people... I bet you would not say say my pipes are to loud to my face... \\; \\; Jason most people on here are not like that there's always a few
Hey it's all good,, let's ride!! On windshield size personally I like one that I can see over, I like some wind in my face and it puts most of the bugs over my head,, except for those really big ones that feel like a rock!!!
John, thanks for the advise. I never rode with a shield. I really don't want to ride with one at all, but I hate eating bugs at night, but I love the feeling of being in the wind, at all times. I don't even mind riding in the rain with out a windshield. Guild....I know. I have been around here for a few years. I've had some different opinions with a few people, but I love it. I WANT people to have there own views and opinions, just don't condemn me for having mine. I love loud pipes, as much as I love sex, and a beautiful woman to look at. If you happen to get annoyed at loud pipes, I apologize, but I'll be out of ear shot in about 5-10 seconds. Trust me, I'll do little to no harm to your life. And....if Johnny law pulls me over and tickets me, then I guess I'll pay the darn thing and and move on. God bless ANYONE who feels differently than me. I will NEVER tell you you should live your life the way I feel.
