I started out using it, went back to the toe shifter for awhile (due to familiarity), and now enjoy the heel shifter. Everything is down! As has been mentioned, my boot toe looks better, too.

I use mine and love it. Miss it when I ride the older bike.

I loved mine and realized the usefulness when the wife and I drove to Tomahawk from Green Bay WI for the annual festivities with a broken left foot and in the rain!

Man, that thing was a party saver! Keep it you never know when you'll need it.

Used it for a while on my first Harley (EG). Sometime a year or so later, I ended up taking it off and years later, I've never looked back.

I used mine until I took off the floorboards and went to forward controls. Liked it but don't mind not having it either. You get used to it fast.

I use mine all the time and I LOVE it...I was really apprehensive about it the first time I used one - but now? I can't get enough of it - and it looks cool too.

Love mine as well! I didn't think I would like it when I rode my Glide home for the first time. After a few miles of playing around, it just became natural to shift with my heel!

Try it first before you take it off. If you don't like it, well everybody's different!

I chew gum when I ride so I don't have one because it's difficult for me to chew gum and work that backwards shifter at the same time[8D]

I always use mine, you won't miss a gear stomping.
Everybody to their own notion.
