I started out using it, went back to the toe shifter for awhile (due to familiarity), and now enjoy the heel shifter. Everything is down! As has been mentioned, my boot toe looks better, too.
I loved mine and realized the usefulness when the wife and I drove to Tomahawk from Green Bay WI for the annual festivities with a broken left foot and in the rain!

I use mine all the time and I LOVE it...I was really apprehensive about it the first time I used one - but now? I can't get enough of it - and it looks cool too.
Love mine as well! I didn't think I would like it when I rode my Glide home for the first time. After a few miles of playing around, it just became natural to shift with my heel!
Try it first before you take it off. If you don't like it, well everybody's different!
