If you can't say it out loud it shouldn't be said...Or written for that matter.&nbsp\\; Useless.&nbsp\\; I prefer the personal touch. &nbsp\\;

I use it and I like it , sometimes phone calls wont get through .&nbsp\\;When katrina came through and the cell phones would`nt work for some reason the texts did , the company I work for pays for it and wants it to be available for that situation .

I'm 34 and text all the time. It's quick, easy, I can do it when having a conversation out load isn't possible or appropriate, and I can text multiple people at the same time. Plus it keeps me from having to talk to certain people [\\]

I find it funny when people complain about it or say that it's useless. I remember people saying the same thing about cell phones, email, the Internet, etc.

In addition, as others have said, when the phone networks go down or jammed (ie 9-11) texts still go through.

I use it everyday, mostly to goof around but I do have some customers who will text me orders, it is nice, I can just read the order clear as day instead of listening to a voicemail several times.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I recently purchased a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, now I am a texting fool. ( age 35 for a few more weeks)
