No texting for me. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; phone, voice mail, email. I would like to throw all of them away sometime. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Oh I am 51 as of today.
I use it and I like it , sometimes phone calls wont get through . \\;When katrina came through and the cell phones would`nt work for some reason the texts did , the company I work for pays for it and wants it to be available for that situation .
I Don't like it sending or reciving ain't got time for that stuff . My eye sight not that sharp so it's hard to see the keys and message. Im 57 coulden't care less about text or cell phones carry it for Emgerency mostly.
I'm 34 and text all the time. It's quick, easy, I can do it when having a conversation out load isn't possible or appropriate, and I can text multiple people at the same time. Plus it keeps me from having to talk to certain people [\\]
I find it funny when people complain about it or say that it's useless. I remember people saying the same thing about cell phones, email, the Internet, etc.
In addition, as others have said, when the phone networks go down or jammed (ie 9-11) texts still go through.
I use it everyday, mostly to goof around but I do have some customers who will text me orders, it is nice, I can just read the order clear as day instead of listening to a voicemail several times. \\; \\; I recently purchased a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, now I am a texting fool. ( age 35 for a few more weeks)
