Is it just me, or is texting the stupidest sh-t? I can call someone and tell the joke and hang up before you can type it. Does anyone over 25 use it?

im 29 and use it so the people at work dont hear my conversation.&nbsp\\; and its really good if you dont get reception. &nbsp\\;

Use mine all the time.&nbsp\\; I also get my emails delivered on my phone as well.&nbsp\\; I don't really like to talk on the phone.&nbsp\\; Would rather write.&nbsp\\; Just a quirk of mine I guess.

I use text a lot, also get my corporate and personal email downloaded to my phone automatically. Keeps me from missing info and allows me to communicate when I'm stuck in a meeting.&nbsp\\;

I'm 47 and I text all the time.&nbsp\\; Quick, simple, no waiting to see if someone answers, no voicemail.&nbsp\\; For simple messages, it's the best way to communicate.
