I'm 43 and use it all the time.. But txts sometimes can get kinda confusing and it's easy to get the wrong idea from them and I usually end up just calling and sayig"what did that mean"?? Lol... my girlfriend is 24 and I wasnt big on them until I met her..Now we can on some days get about 50 in on a regular work day. I'll send one to a friend my age and they just don't seem to get it and end up callin me neway... Lmfao!! SAFP!! Lol... See..

I specifically tell friends and sig others that u can text me but don't even bet ur next breath that I'll text u back - even if I knew how!
my cell is 99.9% outgoing anyway and I'd rather not be accessible - \\;period.
right now my cell is off &\\; out of sight which is the norm.

I'm an unsocialable bastard...Don't text, don't answer my cell after hours, will not answer the phone at home. \\; I'm a slave to phones, email while at work and just want to be left alone.

Just the other day the home phone was ringing and my wife ent running through the house trying to find it (cordless phone). \\; I finally said to her just because it's ringing doesn't mean you have to answer it...she doesn't understand me......

I've got an Iphone and it is part of the plan, my boss texts me all the time and since I deal with so many over seas manufacturers I can text them and it doesn't cost anything.
besides it's more convenient and less intrusive in public... there's nothing more I hate than some loud mouth in a restaurant or train station blabbin as loud as he can about how great his BMW drives or how much fish he cought on his deepsea fishing boat... talk about F'n Rude!

i hate it
my wife uses it all the time and it drives me nuts
she will text back and forth with the same person for 20 minutes and all i hear is ding....ding....ding
