I took my bike to the dealer to have him check out the annoying squeek I have been experiencing. I explained that I don't hear it when I am riding solo but 2 up it is pretty noticable. He is ojn the bike bouncing the forks and trying to get a feel for what is wrong. He asks if it would make the noise with just him riding it. I doubt it since I am bigger than he is. So he says "OK, get on." He is driving and I am riding "girl dog". I have never riden as a passenger before. I at first really didn't like it but I could see how someone could enjoy watching the scenery without having to wqorry about driving.
BTW- it seems the noise is "belt chirp"? He adjusted my suspension (no charge) and sent me on my way.
You just do not look like a guy that would ride back there to me!Your knees must have been up to your shoulders!But your right,its great to just sit back once in a while and watch the scenery all the time instead of quick glances! \\; I guess we can't call ya Squeeky anymore!
Hey H, love that silver and white deluxe of yours. \\; Yours or the wife's? \\; Next to my "skunk" (vivid black and white), the silver and white is my next favorite color scheme. \\; Very sharp. \\;
GaGal, It's mine......but she's already trying to lay claim to it.
 \\;\\\\\\;
The plan WAS to trade her Sporty next Spring for a Heritage. \\;\\\\\\; Now she has decided (after riding mine) that she's going to confiscate my Deluxe next Spring and I can trade her Sporty in on "whatever I want" as she so eloquently put it.
 \\;\\\\\\;
Of course, being the kind, polite, caring hubby that I am, she'll probably get her way. \\;\\\\\\; You girls ALWAYS win in the end........
 \\;\\\\\\;
Funny you say that about your Black/White combo. \\;\\\\\\; That's what I was looking for when I settled on the combo I have. \\;\\\\\\; I think the Bl/Wh looks more "Old School".
