You will need a copy of Jeff Foxworthy's Red Neck Dictionary! Congrats on the new job!
I've been in the south a little over a year and starting to miss the snow a tiny bit.
I always say things happen for a reason. Some times you're forced to decide and I think your decision will not be regretted. You will love the long riding season the South offers and it's mild winters. Welcome to the South and good luck with the new job!
I moved to South Carolina from up north a little more than a year ago for basically the same reason - not my first time down south having grown up in Florida and having lived in GA and Tenn for short periods of time. You'll enjoy the year round riding and cost of living compared to where you are coming from and you have the best riding around just a short ride from where you're moving. Hope you enjoy the south and everything goes well with your move. Good luck with the new job.
Welcome to The South, ya damn yankee! I expect you'll enjoy our winters alot more than the NH ones.
That, ma'am, is a disparagement upon my location. I think this board has proven time and again that it is not just Yankees who bitch or suffer from chitty weather. Bwahahahaha
Right back atcha Ms Karen. Have a SOOOOPER day, kiddo. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showt...=266109&page=5

WTG NHHog. Glad you got an offer, and are getting the heck outta the cold. You'll need 2 scoots down there, one will wear out too fast. Ride ON!!!!!!
When do you move, so we can plan your "GONE AWAY" party for the neighbors????? Sorry, NH, couldn't pass that up.
Finally get to say I am heading south for good!!! I was laid off back in May along with 1200 other folks from my old company. Told folks I was not even going to look for a job here in New England. They all thought in this economy I was nuts. Low and behold I accepted an offer today. It took 2 months from start to finish but it was done. Better riding weather here I come. Leaving NH and heading to Greenville,SC area.
Welcome to the south. Greenville is in my neck of the woods and its great. As for greenville harley they got great service but they want crazy prices for there bikes. Welcome to SC.

Not far enough south. They still have winter in SC. South Texas is the place to be. We have summer and almost summer for seasons with drought and monsoon.
You'll love the South, we are a nice bunch of people down here...oh, and our women are much more attractive.
Best of all, you can ride year round.
You make me want to leave Wisconsin in a bad way, considering that we start riding in april/may and put our bikes away as early as september. It's sad.. Tell me more about the women down there
