I'm not trying to sound like a smart *** BUT how do you leave without your gas cap? And if you do when is it you first notice? Is it when the gas is splashing out on your new assless chaps or fingerless gloves? Or is it when you go to light a cig and find you are now engulfed in flames like a real life version of Ghost Rider? I'm joking of course. It just seems like when I get back on my bike I immediately notice if I did not replace the cap.

I usually put mine back on the passenger's foot board.... or just set it in my cupholder....

He'll probably make a few bucks from the "I gotta have everything" kinda peeps. There was another post this past week about what to do with the gas cap when filling. I"m 44 years old and have had several vehicles thru the years that didn't have the gas cap lanyard. I never stood there wondering what to do with the gas cap when filling them. I've never wondered what to do with the gas cap now. I just don't get the problem. I've never understood the whole Dyna "key in the neck problem" either. That's what my pocket is for. Seems to be alot of guys having anxiety over filling up. What to do with keys and gas caps seems to be a big source.
