Since Myrtle Beach doesnt want bikers any more, looking at the Outer Banks rally in Grandy N.C. anyone know the dates for the rally in 2009. Also if you have been there what do you thing of it. All info would be app. thanks
Outer Banks are cool. Took the bike out there this summer and met up with some folks doin a 3k mile loop from Missouri. I took the 2 hr long Cedar Island Ferry to Okracoke Island and spent the nite. Next day took the short ferry to Hattaras and rode the whole length north to Kitty Hawk then back to Hillsborough, NC.
If ya like Beach & Sun, you can't beat the Outer Banks! Some of the best beaches in the friggin country there! But the riding is BOREING..... with the exception of some really awsome bridges.
I would like to see more support of obscure rallys in the mountains. Maggie Valley is very biker friendly and the surrounding area offer some of the best roads this side of the rockies! (went there twice this yr)
