Any "passing time while hospitialized" ideas?

Never get in a hurry when your working 12 feet up on a ladder.
I was hoping to finish painting the house before taking a ride to Milwaukee this weekend.
Needles to say, the bottom of the ladder kicked out and I fell.
I broke both legs.
I got my computer today, but the day just drags. I am expected to be here a month.
Any ideas or suggestions?

how about doing some letter writing to some service men over seas. i know when i was in the service - a letter - any letter - really made a diff.

all ya gotta do is write about anything - the cute nurses, the hospital room - your plans when you get out - really really makes a difference

Thanks to all for responding. I've been too zoned to log on for a couple days now.
They took me off the dalodid, and now am only on morphine and percocet. I can at least know where I am and whats going on around me now. Before I would sleep until it was time for more drugs and then me gone again.
I joined net flixs today. I screwed it up though, and the movies are being sent to my house.
My son has been pretty proud in telling folks how he has an extra motorcycle and truck to use for the next few months.
The docs tell me it could have been so much worse, and I could be out of here in 4 to 5 weeks. Then another two months in a wheel chair.
Has anyone ever tried using a self propelled lawn mower as power to get around in the wheel chair?
