Get Real,

If I croak on my ride, I hope my kids put it back together and ride the zhit out of it,

Just because some stupid cage causes me to leave this existence, I would not want my bike to be abandoned,

I know from personal experience,

Dumbass broad pulled out right in front of me, no helmet,

Someone other than me was in command of the situation, as I am still here,

So is the bike!!

It's a spooky reminder that we can go anytime. I do what I can to tilt the odds in my favor - helmet, body armor, etc, but I'm still not bullet proof.
+2 on ride the dead man's bike.
I have several tank tops and T-shirts that once belonged to a friend of mine who died while scuba diving in the Carribean. My wife bought them from his widow at her garage sale. Again, a reminder of my mortality.

I love my bikes. Its that simple. I know they are inanimate objects but I helped make them different. I would want someone to ride them and take care of them like I did.

Buttman, I haven't seen that picture in a while. How goes the healing process? On topic, I'm with the ride the bike 'till it dies crowd. My bike isn't haunted or anything, although my wife thinks I am sometimes!

Three years ago next month a good friend of mine was moving his bike from the front yard to the garage and slipped on some gravel and high sided the bike, hit his head on the concrete and died instantly ...... broke the brake lever on the bike and a couple scratches on the engine guard

Yep, a bike's a lot tougher than its rider.

Like finding out your old girlfriend has Herpes. You'd probably still ride her but you'd be extra cautious.

I have a ladder that a friend gave me 20 years ago after he feel off of it and broke his ankle and wrist. Best ladder I ever owned.

I'd ride the bike in a minute. Mojo is BS!
