All H-D dealerships have them and nearly all biker type shops have them. Lore says the bell works best if it's given to you as a gift by a family member or friend.

My bell has worked well - 85,000 trouble-free miles so far!

If you have to buy a bell give it to a friend who rides and hope that they give one back to you, the only way that they are suspose to work is if you recieve them as a gift.

You aren't supposed to buy your own bell. It is supposed to be a gift. Ask a friend to give you one and give one yourself as a gift.

My WITCHDOCTOR brewed up a potion for me when I first started riding. I wear it around my neck it keeps the bad bike spirits away and guarantees me a safe ride. If you feel that the bell will help to keep you safe so be it. I would rather rely on common sense and experience my self. Willing to listen to any opinion on the bell and if they sound right I would be willing to have someone send me one. If you want to send me one contact me via EMail and I will send you my address. It must be getting late I can't see any reason for writing this. I think that I will go out and stare at my Bike for a while.

I bought 6 of them off ebay for like $20..., I'm givin' them to all my buddies that ride.

I got one as a gift last month, and thought it was cool..., watch out though, up here HD sells 'em for $15 each. Who's the gremlin now?!?

I see them more as a "Friendship" bell. That is, given to someone that you care about, or received from someone that is a friend. In that regards, I think they're neat.

Example: We (wife and I) bought one for the daughter and her SO.

Cool

It won't work if you buy it, your buddies have to buy it for ya!
