Question RK Handlebar Adjustment

I'm trying to adjust the handlebars on my 05 Road King before I go to Tomahawk this weekend. I got directions off of here by searching yesterday but now I can't find them again. Can someone please help me out. I know you pop off the collor around the steering column lock but after that I'm lost. The piece of trim that runs along top of the headlight is holding it in place.

Like I always say........... If you don't have a manual (which you should), ask the forum. And then if that don't work, Google it!

Glad I didn't get a RK if a handlebar adjustment is that complex......... sheesh.

It's really pretty easy. All you need to do is remove the HL trim ring. Remove the 8 screws holding the HL in place (be careful [I]not[I] to remove the actual adjusting screws, remove the HL from the nacelle, unplug the connector, remove a bunch of small screws holding the nacelle together, remove 1 or 2 (I forget this part) small screws holding the top metal spear on, remove the halves of the shell, THEN pop off the ring on on the fork lock and then you can remove the clamp cover. Adjust the bars to where you like them and reverse the process, or something like that. Make sure you don't drop otherwise lose any of the small nuts, bolts, grommets or other trim pieces.

Other than that, it's a snap!
