Default Texas Dealer ?

Anyone have thoughts of Barnett Harley in El Paso Tx. Thoughts of anyone who has purchased over the net and had bike shipped not seeing the bike in person ??

I did the same thing, only with Big Spring,Tx. But others I work with have done the same. I got the price much better than in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Guess I'll find out.

Compare the price. Barnett's seems to specialize in high prices, and financing for those who can't be financed anywhere else. Which might explain the high prices.

Yeh I was told they include the price to fly you in, sign you up and you drive it home. That could be part of the increase!! However, they have a bookoo number of bikes out there!!

Barnett will screw you every chance they get. Don't do business with them.

Was a time that you would find many a person in El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM with "Boycott Barnett" bumper stickers. I knew many many HD owners in the area that drove 4-8 hours to another dealer to buy a Harley.

Their Website even hints that they over charge for bikes. Just look at what they want for a 2000 883 (8999!) Selling your bike? For a low low price of $700 they will provide financing for your buyer! What a deal!

Just read this link here:
http://www.barnettharley.com/motoprices.htm

Purchasing bikes this way means our prices are way over retail. We pay over retail plus tax for almost all of them. We do, however, have low financing rates for people with good credit.

If I did not know anything about them, that statement copied right off of the web site tells me all i need to know.

I tried to buy a bike from Barnett in 2004. They wanted $20,000 of a Springer. At the time, that was about $3,000 over MSRP.

I've purchased a couple of bikes from Legacy in Midland. They are pretty good folks. PM me if you want more information.

I visited this dealer while on a trip in Tx.

Nice folks. They are not as HUGE as Barnett, but that suited me just fine. And IF I recall correctly, their prices were MSRP.
