how many miles
i had a guy at work today tell me i couldnt get 30,000 miles out of my harley
i tryed telling him about the guys on this site and how much people ride now tell me how many miles are on your bike rite now

There's a guy on here with over 100,000 miles on his Twinkie. I can't remember his name though... dammit
According to the service guy at the dealership (who lets me pick his brain a lot) you'll get about 60,000 miles and then you'll have to change out the twin cam chain and pads... keep changing your oil every 2500 and you'll pass 100 grand with ease.

The guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I have 20,600 on mine and it's running strong. Wait till you see the rest of the replies to this post and then show it to the guy. 2001 Electra Glide Classic.

One friend I have put 160,000........in like 3 yrs, been to 48 of the 50 states. He just got a remand motor after like 168,000, they called it a warranty issue and he spent $50.00 for the motor.
