Default Motorcycle Photography-CC PLease.

Hello All - I have been experimenting with an on-bike mounted camera operated by remote. I shot some portraits for a friend and I also shot the Oyster Run in Anacortes, Washington last weekend. I use the CVO saddlebag bar on the lower left side and point the camera either behind or to the side of the bike. I would like to know what you think of my shots as Im considering offering this to my customers that ride. Thanks for your time...

not sure it needs to be attached to a bike to get those shots but yeah...

and you wont be able to get any neat bike/background blur effect in these shots since youre using a fast shutter speed to avoid shake from your bike

Actually I will be able to - My lens is not a point and shoot type. I have all the same controls shooting via remote that I normally would hand-holding. Effects are coming, i.e., subject blur, background blur, light streaks etc... Thanks for the look!

I like, nice work.

question you passenger while on the bike you riding while shooting? or you driving?
and if you are driving are you presetting the camera and then taking multiple shots?

Im am the driver operating the camera by remote. I use a variety of lenses and I basically preset all my controls. I like wide angle lenses - it makes it easier to capture the subject but I get my best results from using prime lenses.

Well, from what I can tell (pictures are to small to critique), the pictures are not quite sharp.. a bit out of focus on the first. Watch your lighter colored areas, a few highlights were blown in the second shot, and add a bit more contrast. They look very drab. Do you use photoshop at all? Don't over do it, just clean it up a little..

Did you open the links or just see the two thumbnails identifying the photo albums?

I think it's a great idea... everyone wants photos of themselves (except me) and their friends. And if the photo quality is good enough for an 8X10 that should be fine. They will sell.
