Sorry to hear about it Tree, been there a few times myself and I know it sounds like a cliché but time does heal all wounds. Get things sorted with the kids - it'll make you feel better, get things sorted with the bike - it'll help you feel better, forget about the o/l and it will be better. Good luck; if all else fails, let me know and I'll introduce you to a couple of ex's who'll introduce you to what real hell is all about.
Put things into perspective. You can overcome many obstacles. I've always felt anything thrown my way I can deal with. As far as perspective, I lost my younger brother just after Thanksgiving last year. Makes all this other stuff seem trivial.
Anyone else think of the movie "Clerks 2" when they read this threads title....lol..man that was disgusting!!
Sorry for your luck man, it'll get better. Been through 2 divorces and a world of chit myself. Just 4 years ago everything I owned fit into an army duffle bag, and had no where to live. Hard to imagine now but I busted my *** to get to where I am now. Good luck.....
hey Tree, been in the same spot before. wife walked out with 2 kids, moved over 1200 miles away, didn't have a car, no job and she cleaned out the bank account when she left. I was low low low, best thing anyone said to me was a guy on the bus one day. We weren't really talking but he saw i was down and just said "always remember, this is WHERE you are, not WHO you are, things do get better." don't know if it helps or not but it got me through my times. Good luck and keep your head up.

Not sure how old your kids are, but STAY ON THE HIGH GROUND. The kids will figure it out, they are very perceptive. If you git down in the mud and wrestle, you will BOTH lose. JMFUO, tho.
NOW, what do we have to do, to git that scoot up, and your face inta da wind?
I think at times we all get into a pitty party, but the only one to show up is us. If we just look around things are happening to everyone and we may not be that bad off. I just received yesterday that my friend's myloma cancer had progressed to stage 3 and will probably never get to ride his bike again.
