Also on the 550 you can have mp3 playing if you like, and when it comes to a turn our location you have programmed it will stop playing the mp3 and let you know where your turn or stop is.[/QUOTE]
Do a google search on these 2 companies and you won't find much good about them. Be careful.
Those companies are a load of crap, I tried one of them and a couple others that advertised stupidly low prices for just about everything. They NEVER have anything in stock, and then while you're on the phone try and sell you pricey sd cards etc., or tell you there's a better choice of camera for only 50 bucks more, etc etc etc. You know the drill.
The reason they have low low prices is to show up on CNET.com etc as the lowest price for a unit. Or on pricecompare.com etc etc.
I have the Z550 btw, and it's the donkey's bollocks.
Have been using the Garmin Streetpilot for a number of years here in Europe with good results. Currently have a 2720, previously a 2610, which I actually liked better because it had a CF card rather than relying on the GPS harddrive. Both performed well but screen hard to see in direct sunlight. Would recommend the Zumo 550 - you're not hooked up with a wire, have an mp3 player and you don't need to be attached to a power source when you use it - very handy if you want to make changes during your trip while sitting in a restaurant, etc.

I just got off the Zumo board They said look up those companies on the Better Business Bureau. I did...Then cancelled my order. Not much good to say about them. Hope I didn't cause anyone any grief
I stopped at Cabela's yesterday in Richfield, WI and they had the Lowrance XOG on sale for $159.00. I picked one up. This is my first GPS so I figured I could get some experience using one at a reasonable price. As soon as I figure out how to use it, I'll let you know how I like it.
