I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Harley Tri-Hawk of the early '80s. Same concept, two wheels in front, but with an enclosed cabin. There are other vehicles with this layout around, among them something called a "T-Rex" at twice the price (or more). I think the attraction of this thing is based on it's relatively low price.

$16K in the toy budget puts this pretty low on my "must have" list. That much money buys a nice second bike, a crotch rocket and a dirt bike, or a classic. I think the riding position and sporty image will limit it with traditional trike buyers as well. Can-am is a good company though. We used to love their dirt bikes in the '70s.

I have one. It's definitely not the same kind of ride as my Ultra, but it is 100% of the fun, just in a different way.

When I took the demo ride, I was underwhelmed. I went back and the dealer let me take it out for an afternoon. I was sold. BRP has done a great job with the engineering on this machine.

I seem to see more and more of these "things" on the road all the time.

The only question that comes to mind is "at what point does it stop being a motorcycle and become a car or something else for that matter?"

Don't have a problem with them and they seem sorta cool, but can't see anyone calling themselves a biker because they ride one.

I guess I don't consider it either a motorcycle or a car...
