Hit while riding
Besides the usual road grit, what have you been hit with while riding?
My husband had a yellow jacket slam dunk down his shirt and sting him in the belly this past weekend. He was wearing a jacket and two shirts, and still the damn thing just went right down. He got the bike pulled over and stopped, and started tearing off clothes in some nice lady's yard to be rid of the thing. No telling what she thought about having a biker suddenly stop and start stripping in her yard. Wish I had gotten a photo.
He was not a happy camper after that though as you can imagine.

Usual rocks, bugs and the occasional piece of lost tire tread.
Was driving thru the desert in Spring a few years ago after Calif had a particularly wet Winter. There was this unusual amount of yellow moths everywhere. Pretty heavy thru the desert as well.
I was in the truck with my son when we hit a wall of these things.
Splattered all over the windshield and front hood. A ton of them. They were swarmed like a giant yellow cloud.
We get thru the horde. Windshield washer and wipers working overtime.
I look over to the oncoming lanes and there's a pack of about 20 bikes heading straight for the moth cloud.
Never knew if they ran through it but if they did I'm sure there were many moths consumed and some pretty interesting stories to tell.

My friend was hit by a bottle cap in the lip. She watch the drive as they hit her with it. Then a week later she hit a bird in the chin. I hit a dragonfly and cut my lip. Now rocks, wood and tires count.

Got hit years ago by a retread that came off a semi tire........damn near knocked me off the bike, cut my arm pretty good, broke right side mirror off. I never hang by semis now......older and a little wiser.
