+1 This is a must. Get the manual from HD for your bike specific. It will tell you how much in fluids to use. Measure your fluids first and check levels once they are in the right place. Use the right fluids in the right place. A manual will give you torque specs. Cover your paint if you are working near fenders, tanks, or chrome if you think a wrench or tool can slip or fall.

+1 or 2 Without a manual you had best let a good mech do the work Been wrenching on stuff forclose to 50 years and still have the book out when I am doing it. They also tell me when I am in over my head and need to seek assisstance
