Default download vs. PowerCommander

I plan on doing a stage I that includes V&H Big Radius pipes. I won't be changing the pipes after this. If I go ahead and get the bike dyno'ed at the same time, is there any point in buying a PC III? I'm thinking of saving some money by just doing the download.

Thx in advance.

I have the V&H big radius, stage one with a K&N filter and I also have the PCIII. I'd go ahead and spend the extra cash and get the PCIII. Not sure about the download. You sent alotta moola on that bike, might as well get it runnin' right. Get the PCIII, you'll be glad you did.

The download sucks besides it was not meant for use with V&H pipes. Just call Jamie at Fuelmoto and tell him what you have and he will get you what you need.

I have an SE stage 1, V&H big shot staggered pipes and a SERT. I've had the bike Dyno'd and have a download that is specific to my meager mods. The bike runs great and has since the mods.

plans change. I'd get the PCIII (I did). You may love your pipes today, but a year or 2 from now you may find something you like better...

I didn't get either, I plan on doing big mods to the bike later, so I went with the SERT. But if I could only choose from the download and the PCIII it would be the PCIII.

The PCIII seems to be one of the more versatile of the add on's. A download won't address the lean burning that keeps you bike from running as well and as cool as it can. The PCIII or something similar will.

I haven't had those issues. My bike was dyno'd by Mike Stegman at Latus HD. He's a master at it. My only real comment would be go with what you are comfortable with cause 5 people are likely to give 5 different answers and all of them are right answers.
