Now, how would I react? Well it would depend on who the friend is an how well I knew them. If it was a friend we ride with all the time that I knew well then no problem. I'm kind of guessing that might be the case since she called you for help. In that case it would be no biggie to me. Always just better to ask. That back seat might be on your bike but it is "her" seat especially if riding together is something that you guys enjoy together.
The bed thing makes more sense to me now. I am still young and dumb so maybe I just don't get it.

Okay maybe not the best example but all I could come up with quickly. It's a hard thing to explain. Let me try again....

When you have a passenger on your bike they are in a somewhat intimate position. Your back is pressed against them, their legs wrapped around your body. If they have to talk they lean up and talk into your ear. It's her place on your bike...her special time with you. So to me it's like my bed. There are very, very few people that could wander into my bedroom and lie down on my bed with our without my husband there that would not get under my skin. That's my spot, the place I sleep and make love to my husband. It's just not a spot for other woman.

Does that make any more sense? Maybe not. It is difficult to explain why that seat means so much to a woman. And it's not that they think you had ulterior motives or that anything was going on. It's just a special place they don't want to share with just anyone.

Hmmm. I wouldn't have a problem with it. However, back when I first hooked up with my husband, he DID get a bit bent out of shape over me givin' guys rides on my bike. I stopped doing that.

Bed and bike are two different animals. You have sex in bed........are you telling us that you use the bike for more than just riding

Thank you for explaining it to me. I probably don't get it because I have yet to do it (2 up not the bed thing lol). Also my wife is a lot more forgiving then most wives and the only time I get jealous when we go out is if girls hit on her more then me. (which is pretty much every time and by jealous I just mean envious)

This makes me think of the pulp fiction scene where there talking about the guy getting throw out a window for rubbing the other guys wife's feet.

You’re a lucky man.

Like I said it would depend on the girl and the situation. I’ve offered up my hubby’s back seat many times to woman. Usually I offer up mine first but tell them if they feel more comfortable they can ride with Sean. And I’ve given guys rides on my bikes and ridden with other guys with my husband’s approval. It’s a little different now that I have my own. I’m not as protective of that seat but I still understand what they are coming from.
