I need your help and opinion. A friend of the family called the house and left a message that her car broke down and to call. I get the call and tell her I'll be up to get her. It was 72 degrees and sunny so I take the bike (she rides her own so she has no problem on a bike). No big deal, pick her up and drop her off at her house. Anyhow at some point during our dinner conversastion that night I tell my wife the story about Nancy (the family friend) breaking down and about my picking her up. When she hears the part about me picking her up on the bike I get "the look of death" usually reserved for the kids. She says I should have picked her up in my truck. I ask what is the difference. Anyway, I'm still getting the cold shoulder. Did I violate some unspoken woman code? Girls I should would like your opinion in particular. Thanks
Serious answer: She's being a woman. Ignore it and it'll fix itself after a while, or buy some flowers.

That bein said...some of our "friends" are a bit more friendly than others...and we both know who they are...so, they would not be approved on the back of my scoot by the missus. Sounds like yer OL failed to communicate this kinda info to ya...unlike my wife, who ALWAYS makes sure I know the "friendly" ones to avoid.

It is a matter of respect. Your wife has earned the seat it is hers. It is like you lending a women something your wife cherishes.
When our nieces want to go for a ride they ask my wife first if they can go before asking me.

You were a bad boy. You did wrong giving a chick a ride on the back of your bike without your wife " Preapproving" is probably worth a good dinner out to appologize. Having another chick on the back seat is like slow dancing only reserved for your spouse.

..But I knew she was unfaithfull for a long time,the children kept me there untill I couldnt take it no more........Anyway.......
My wife now of 12yrs has asked me to give her girl friends rides on the bike but I decline cause it just dosnt feel right if I did....Guess thats why I did the softail up as a solo ride and if she wants to ride I allways have the Bagger.
..I would of taken the pickup or car to get her.....But thats just me....

Most ladies feel that riding 2 up is a very up close and personal thing because intimate body parts are being rubbed against the driver. That is why once I learned to ride and got my own bike the first present I got for hubs was a beautiful custom made solo seat for his bike, Now we have 6 bikes in our garage and they all have solo seats. You could just as easily have taken your truck to pick up the friend. If you value your relationship, apologize sincerely, make love slowly and tell her how much you cherish her in your life. IN the future if someone you know wants a ride on your bike- ask her first.(38 years happily married experience)
