Most ladies feel that riding 2 up is a very up close and personal thing because intimate body parts are being rubbed against the driver. That is why once I learned to ride and got my own bike the first present I got for hubs was a beautiful custom made solo seat for his bike, Now we have 6 bikes in our garage and they all have solo seats. You could just as easily have taken your truck to pick up the friend. If you value your relationship, apologize sincerely, make love slowly and tell her how much you cherish her in your life. IN the future if someone you know wants a ride on your bike- ask her first.(38 years happily married experience)
If you value the relationship? That sounds like a threat - you don't own 'us', we shouldn't need permission to go help someone out.
Kiss her butt a little bit and tell her that your friend didn't ride as well as she does on the back....You know, made you uncomfortable. Wish you luck!
unless your woman gives prior approval, i have been told now that my girl is the property owner of that seat space, and needs written/oral approval. lol
I'm not the jealous type. For years I rode behind my hubby, now I ride my own. I never gave it another thought if he gave another girl a ride on the back of his bike. I guess I figured if he wanted to screw around he would do it some place other than his bike. That's just Me.
Honesty is still the best policy in my book. She would have found out sooner or later. Better that you are upfront about it now. You have nothing to hide.

I think that you may not be getting the point. I do not think that any ownership is implied here. Going two up is one of those things that is reserved for a couple. In a womens mind it is kinda sensual to ride with the one you love and vise-versa.

yeah that was a mistake...you putting a woman in her seat is like cheating on her bro...thats her space...aside from my mother no female would ever sit there except her...unless one of her friends wanted a quick ride or something and got her permission first...just the way it is bro

Why? It's a seat. It burns less gas and someone can sit on it pretty easily to get where they need to go.
I don't see it any different than the passenger seat of my car... except it makes riding a lot less fun, unlike driving which is mostly the same. Throws the balance off in high speed turns, and it's not super safe either.
