Found a bike I like and the dealer is asking 13000 plus tax, license, title and a $50.00 Wisconsin transaction fee. Kelly Blue book lists the bike trade in value at 9670. Bike is an 03 Road Glide with 23000 miles which is under the avg according to kbb.
What do you think a reasonable offer would be? Thanks!
Offer low and settle for 12 out the door with as many perks as you can get them to throw in (warranty, 20% off everything for a day/month/year etc..., get some extra bling installed on their dime)
You should be able to find that bike with lower miles on the private market for 11 or so. They would still be making some $$ (you know they didn't give 10K for it) and they get it off the floor.
