Make sure it's still on this year.... i thought i heard it was in Jacksonville NC this year??? Not sure but you should check... Far Cry from Nags Head to Jax....Our Outer Banks are the bomb...Southern Outer banks are nice too...
The area is nice to ride around but the event itself sucks. Hardly any vendors at all and not really much going on. I prefer to ride down there when the event isn't going on so it's a little less traffic. If you do go then make sure you go over to Vertigo Tattoo in Manns Harbor, they always have free beer there and it's a pretty good time. http://www.vertigotattoo.com/events.htm
We'll be heading there this year, not alot of vendors, but the riding is excellent. Actually I think it has gotten better every year. Heres a link... says there will be over 100 vendors this year. I dont go for the vendors anyway, as I said the riding there is fantastic. http://www.usridernews.com/absoluten...d=615&zoneid=1

I'm contemplating making the 6 hour ride from PA
Never been there during the rally but was there in December 2008 and what an great place to ride a motorcycle. The people were over and above hospitality. Very accomadating and just nice(Southern Hospitality).
