Exclamation HD Motorclothes

I would like to know if anyone has used or is using the FX riding gear from HD...I've done some research and I like what it has to offer.. Just wondering if it"s any good or if it does what it says it can do.

It's average Chinese stuff. You're better off with either FirstGear or RiverRoad for half the price.

I was also looking at the Motorport Kevlar stuff...I like that too...I have also looked at the Aerostich..and the two you mentioned....I just want to get good gear that works in multiple weather situations...i live in Las Vegas and riding in the heat is more the concern..money isnt really a concern at this point

It's absolutely top quality gear. I have the leather jacket and overpants as well as the gloves, and while I live in Calfornia, the above combo keeps me warm and dry.

The items are all lined with Gore-Tex obviating the need for a rainsuit in cold weather for average conditions. I'm going to be doing a lot of warm weather riding this summer, and will certainly take a look at the new perforated leather jacket coming out.

I purchased the FXRG textile touring coat in 2004, and it has been a first-class, versatile coat for riding in warm and cold weather. After five years of riding, it is beginning to show some wear and tear, so I added a Fox Creek leather jacket to my gear a few months ago. However, I would consider looking at another FXRG textile coat the next time I am in the market for one.

Overall, I consider the FXRG line to be serious riding gear, and the prices on the textile gear are competitive with other brands of similar quality. Their prices on leather gear are a bit steep.
