I am MVP Gold with my dealer and it has helped me decide to purchase some stuff locally when otherwise I wouldn't. For example I can get 15% on something but if shipping it is going to cost alot then I'll just opt for the 15% or if I get in a hurry for something I can get 15% locally.
I can't speak for other dealers but I totally think our MVP is worth it $99 for a lifetime membership! If you never buy anything your min discount is 11% and we offer many ways to earn free points to reach next levels. Our dealership does alot of things for all our members like 2 free parties a year with catered meals, drinks,& soft drinks, and door prizes usually equaling over 2K. We have over 500 like minded people show up at our parties! we do a once a year special trip that our members can sign up to win. The program has other benifits as well and we even do special rides with our members. If you are buying a new bike and adding acc. or buying several hundred dollars in parts you already have your value. P.S. I like saving money as much as the next guy,but if we don't support our local businesses they may not be there the next time we do need them! Just saying don't give them the business if not worthy but if are help them help you.
They have had that at St Paul harley for years, and if all you will use it for is parts, its a joke, you can buy stuff from a number of online harley dealers and get a better discount without having to join any club, and buy a memebership, and then eventually earn your way up to a 14% discount.
plus most of the folks at Stpaul harley are jackwagons, If i am reduced to going to the stealership, i only go to stcroix in new richmond wi, or down to twin cities harley in lakeville i really only go to twin cities harley for the consignment parts shop they have there.
