Default IDS sprocket movement

Installed an IDS set up on a 07 flhri a few thousand miles ago, and noticed that when the bike is parked If I grab the rear belt sprocket and/or belt I can move it about 1/16 " fore and aft..Im assuming the rubber grommets (shrunk) so to speak or just seated in ..I took the wheel off and checked it out and it looks ok..Just wondering if any one else ever noticed this...

I'm no wrench, but could it be the needed slack in the transmission? If it wouldn't move at all, things could bind up.

I have had my IDS on for about 22000 miles with no problems.
