Default Trouble With Surdyke?

I placed an order with Surdyke.com 10 days ago and nothing has shipped. There was some comment about one item being backordered, but nothing has been sent to me, there's no tracking numbers, customer service initially answered and gave me run around answers, and I'm beginning to wonder...

Has anyone else had a bad experience? Am I missing something?

Shipping can be a little slow but I live with it for 20 percent off and resonable shipping cost. I have not had any problems with them and most items have arrived sooner than their expected shipping date. I called customer service once and who I spoke to was helpful and answered my question.

Call them again and threaten to call their local BBB if you don't get straight answers and prompt resolution. That usually lights a fire under their azzes.

contact them and tell them to send the rest of your order now and the backordered item when it comes in.

Shipping was crazy slow but I wasn't in a hurry at the time. UPS should send you an e-mail when it ships. Tell them to separate the back ordered stuff into another shipment.

I had a similar problem with Surdyke a couple of years ago. It seemed like it took them forever to acknowledge the order and awhile thereafter to ship it. I did eventually get everything. However, based on this experience, I use Zanotti, Lake Shore and then Chicago Harley, in that order, for my parts orders. Zanotti has been really good, although their shipping rates for small items can be rather high.
