Electrical Question?
Headlamp has been intermittent lately. Headlight OFF (both beams) and the Hi Beam indicator is ON. Started with dim headlamp and a faint glow in the Hi Beam indicator then would be normal. Is this the normal symptom of a blown bulb?

Could be the bulb or, like mine, the connector might have burned up. The high beam indicator on my bike was also on all the time. If it's the connector, you can get a replacement with pigtails and barrel connectors to replace it at the dealership.

Found the headlight plug melted at the ground lug. Checked the bulb low beam resistance to the ground terminal to be < 1ohm. Replaced the bulb with a Sylvania Silver Streak and the plug with a plug from local auto parts store. Suspect that the nearly shorted lo beam filament was creating the back-feed. All seems well now. Thanx for replies.
