Default A good day indeed...
I was out tooling around today and decided to stop in to the dealership where I bought my bike. Low and behold, I see a pal of mine from work sitting at a picnic table having a smoke. He informs me that another counterpart from where we work is dealing on new Harley. A few minutes later, he comes outside where we are. Seems he wants a Crossbones, imagine that. (See the sig pic) He's going through the usual second guessing, you all know the routine. (He's in his early 20's and trading a Sporty) So I finally say to him; "Take mine for a quick spin, then you will know." Since he was waiting for approval for financing, we knew he had time, and so he did. He came back with that **** eating grin and it was game over. Shortly after that, the salesman comes out and informs him he is approved. They go back in to seal the deal and a little later, they roll "his" new Bones out. We wait around for the "after the sale" ritual, ring the bell, introductions, t-shirts, pictures, again, you know the drill. Once that was over, the three us of went out for a ride around town. Interesting perspective to see someone riding the same bike I have. The smile on that kid's face. Ah yes, a good day indeed!

Awesome story, nothing like getting a new bike or a nice used bike, riding and friendship is what it's all about for me.

Excellent story, it is great to hear of someone that young with good taste.

Ahhhh....to be in my early 20's again out buying a new bike. Dem were the days....
