Default The Little Things (tips of all kinds)

First I'd like to say I really like this forum. Lots of good information and help.
Lots of humor and fun too.

I was lucky when I first started riding. I was aloud to ride with a group of riders that had been riding for lots of years. They showed me a lot of things to look out for.

I thought I would start a thread about the little things.

I am just posting one please feel free to add to it

1. Keep the wrenches needed to get your battery unhooked (10mm ect.). In a place that you can reach in seconds.

Allways remember;

1%ers just need a hug so do your best to make them feel loved

Women dress sexy because they want you to tell them something naughty...even if they are with their man...

Sit way back on your seat when trying to do your 1st burn out, dump that clutch and keep a loose grip on the bars

Brakes are for sissies, get chrome instead

On long trips, carry an extra clutch and throttle cable.

Don't watch the cute 5 foot something 19 year old blonde college student in pink short shorts and a white tank top with no bra, jogging her little butt down Nevada Ave in Colorado Springs, CO on a summer day.

It's the surest way to rear end a car stopped at a light in front of you.

No personal experience of course...

Carry a couple of long cable ties with you. When your shifter linkage breaks, you can use them to get your bike to the dealer.

Never assume the raccoon that just went under the front wheel is constipated.

After having a raccoon just go under your front wheel, never assume that you are constipated.
