Wondering if anyone else has used the ICE Turtle Wax yet and what ya think? I tried it yesterday with the whole shebang, wash, wax, got the tire cleaner and "detail" stuff. Just got two coats of the wax on so far. Not sure what I think, it doesn't seem real slick like other polishes, even Pledge. Just trying to find something that will last a few washes, easy to apply, (it is easy) and keeps road crap and bugs from sticking so derned hard. Stuff ain't cheap either. It's pretty cool that you can get it on black parts, seats, dash, air deflectors etc., without having the white residue you get from regular polishes. Ya, I know some of you wash yer bike once a year, mine is still new (last September) so I like to keep it looking fairly nice, and I live on the coast so there's a lot of salt, need some protection. Haven't gotten to the tire cleaner yet, have to wait for the stink'n wind and rain to stop again. Weather sucks here right now so it'll be a few days before it gets road tested....
I have tried that and a number of other products. Nothing seems to last for very long. I have found that a paste wax does last longer and have had the best results with Collonite Fleet wax.
I tried Ice liquid on my bike and was not impressed. Didn't give a deep shine.
Yesterday I figured that I might as well use it up and washed then Iced my truck. Chevy S-10 with silver with metal-flake paint.
It did go on and off easy with a micro-fiber cloth without white residue. Looked like crap when it was done. Not a deep shine and splotchy. Took the buffer to it and it didn't do any good.
Rewaxed with Turtle Wax Platimum paste and now it looks great.
I've used it on lots of different vehicles over the last year. Pros- you can put it on in direct sunlight on hot paint and get it on plastic and there is no residue or white cr*p to deal with. Easy to apply and buff out- be sure you use micro fiber for buffing. Cons- it doesn't last as long as a good paste wax. (If you are into detailing- not a big deal) It works better with light colors than black. I like it on my truck (birch color) I do not use it on my bike (black)
I have it, its easy on easy off. But does leave some splotchyness behind at first.
I think its a bit expensive for the results. But like it for the same reasons of no mess, and no white on the rubber parts.
do yourself a favor, go to an rv dealer, walmart rv dept, or internet a buy a bottle of protect-all. does all paint, chome, vinyl plastic and no white residue. easy on/off. one product does all. been using it for years on all my vehicles. the aerosol is easiest to use on the bike, but harder to find.

Tried it and don't like it, twice a year I use a clay bar then paste wax. (the harder the better)
In between I use a qucik detail spray if it's dirty or just a swiffer duster if it's just dusty.
