Question bolt on rake kit
anyone use one of these? whered u get it? is it worth it?

I installed a kit made by Seeger cycle on buddies 2007 Sportster. Nice kit, good instuctions and rellatively easy to install. The Bike rides, and looks great. Here is a link to their site. www.seegercycle.com

I have a rake kit on my 'o5 Sportster Custom. Did it myself looks great. It wasn't hard to do at all. Bike is in the picure.

I've checked out AME a whole bunch, but I think the main objection I heard was that they may be unsafe? I don't know who said that or what prrof they have, but I thought I would just throw it out there.

If you want rake, I think you should do it the real way, chop it. (Cool doesn't come in a kit.)

Based on that logic, you shoulda built your scoot from a basket...cool doesn't come assembled from the factory.
