a windshield on my Springer with apes, TOOK the pressure off my chest( wind) screw what others think, I ride longer, and not beat to death with the wind, at age 69 i need all the help i can get. DO IT.
And apes behind batwings look even stupider. The ones you have are just baby apes...look like Heritage mini apes and those don't look bad, but when you add 16" apes and a windscreen...yea, it looks kinda dumb.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
When you're 6'6" on these critters, ONLY way to keep from getting your knees tangled up in the 'steering wheel'.

Saw this picture and had to run to the garage to make sure my bike was still there! I like the feel of the bike without the shield because it feels more like freedom. I personally dont ride with the shield on going short stints, but I have an hour long ride to work and will put the shield on for that. It may look stupid, but it is practical for keeping the bug guts off me before I get to work, and those pesky little rocks that big trucks sling up every once in a while. So if you happen to see me riding down the interstate with the shield on, you are more than welcome to pull me over and tell me how stupid my bike looks. I may give you some pointers of my own. JMO.

C'mon...seriously? Man, someone puts out an opinion and all of a sudden y'all get wrapped around the axle. Guess what...not everyone is gonna like what you got...get over it. Yep, I think it looks dumb, if it works for you then why do you care what I think. If I pulled everyone over everyone that was driving or riding something I thought looked dumb, I'd never get anywhere...
Slammed Hondas with buzzcan exhaust
Any car that was pink
Yugos
List goes on
I mean seriously, if I saw you riding down the road, I wouldn't even give you a second glance. Get over yourselves. Again, I think it looks dumb...why do you care?
I have a windsheild but have yet to put it on since my 16" ape install. I think it would look stupid in my humble opinion, but it sure does help with wind pressure.
